Geek Week USA Goals and Objectives

  Geek Week USA has some ambitious goals:

• Highlight geek events around the country via social media
• Engage geeks of all ages in local companies and school systems
• Provide a handbook for other communities to develop their own Geek Week activities
• Link to other “USA” branded organizations, companies, initiatives that are a good fit with geeks
• Build long term relationships with key vendors
• Focus geek energy on activities that can benefit local or national charities
• Create a 501(c)(3) organization
• Develop a plan to award scholarships to up and coming students
• Assemble a board to provide long-term guidance
